Recap: Internship report

You may have participated in the Parallax: programme or supported my internship in many different ways, and it feels very special to be writing to you, thank you :)

A year of internship went by faster than I had expected. From March to December, I participated in the everyday operations of Artspace Aotearoa, and ran the Parallax: programme. It has been an extremely rewarding, confronting, and humbling experience learning under trusted hands, and contesting my ambition with practicality with lots of joys, fears and tears.

With the support of all who visited and engaged throughout the year, the Parallax: programme hosted five projects with 11 artists and welcomed hundreds of people into the space. To close this chapter, I would love to invite you to a cushion presentation recapping these moments of reflections, regrets, learnings, hopes and acknowledge the people that shaped it.
