New Zealand Herald features Artspace Aotearoa exhibition on art education

CRIT: Art learning since 1987 is featured in the New Zealand Herald, which explores how the exhibition asks what art education might look like if we built it today.

The feature considers CRIT's examination of the changing landscape of art education since the late 1980s, tracing how artists learn inside, beside, outside and beyond formal institutions through critique, collaboration, friendship and collective practice.

For a deeper look at the ideas behind the exhibition, read Kaiwhakahaere Tuarua Deputy Director Bridget Riggir-Cuddy's Off Script essay for Canvas, which begins with the question: "What might an art school look like if we built it today?"
